Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting early childhood students as an Occupational Therapist in a vibrant school setting. This onsite position, scheduled for 40 hours per week from March 16, 2027, through May 21, 2027, empowers you to make a meaningful impact on young learners during a pivotal stage of their development.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current Illinois Occupational Therapy (OT) license is required
  • Experience working with early childhood or pediatric populations is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with school-based OT practices and collaborative approaches
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and contribute within a multidisciplinary team
  • Compliance with all state and district requirements for school-based practitioners

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for early childhood students
  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services in alignment with IEP goals
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to foster student success
  • Maintain detailed records and contribute to student progress reporting
  • Implement adaptive strategies and modifications to support access to the curriculum
  • Contribute to the development of a positive, inclusive classroom environment
