A skilled Occupational Therapist is sought to provide essential support across elementary, middle, and high school settings. This role focuses on helping students develop and enhance the skills necessary for academic success and daily living. The position offers flexible full-time and part-time opportunities, with schedules up to 40 hours per week, based in Rockford, MI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify students' occupational therapy needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students requirements.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
- Provide direct therapy services focused on improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies and regulations.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) planning.
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license.
