The assignment runs from August 10, 2026, to May 21, 2027, with required orientation sessions scheduled for August 3 and 4. Enjoy the flexibility of a one-day-a-week schedule (7.5 hours per week), providing you with a balanced workload and time for other commitments or opportunities.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Illinois State Occupational Therapy License (IDFPR required)
• Previous experience in school-based settings or with school-aged children is highly desirable
• Adaptability to work with students across early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school levels
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills for effective teamwork with educators, families, and support staff
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to meet the unique needs of each student within your caseload
• Conduct evaluations and develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals in collaboration with the education team
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in relevant meetings
• Provide guidance to staff and families on strategies to support students classroom participation and independence
