Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as an Occupational Therapist for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year near Rockford, IL. Working full-time at 37.5 hours per week, youll collaborate onsite with educators and families to help approximately 40 students reach their greatest potential through tailored OT interventions.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current Illinois Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
  • Experience working in school settings and with diverse student populations preferred
  • Ability to manage a K-12 caseload and adapt strategies to meet varying developmental needs
  • Skilled in communicating with students, staff, and parents to develop effective therapy plans

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services for students in grades K-12
  • Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and maintain relevant documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate therapeutic strategies in the educational environment
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed for optimal outcomes
