Key Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in New York
• Experience in school-based OT services; additional background in home health or teletherapy is highly valued
• Strong communication and collaboration skills working with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Comfortable evaluating and developing individualized plans for K-3 students
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques to classroom, home, or virtual settings

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to K-3 students within a supportive school community
• Assess and document students functional abilities and therapy needs
• Develop and implement targeted interventions to foster participation and independence in academic and daily activities
• Consult regularly with classroom teachers and parents to ensure therapy goals are incorporated into students educational plans
• Maintain accurate, compliant records of services, progress, and communications
• Adapt service delivery to include on-site, home, and teletherapy platforms as needed
