Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Active Minnesota occupational therapist license required
  • Experience working in school-based settings highly preferred
  • Comfortable engaging with students across elementary, middle, and high school age groups
  • Strong communication and organizational skills for collaboration with educators, families, and other support staff
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans and support strategies based on student needs

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs to enhance their ability to participate in educational activities
  • Evaluate student eligibility, establish treatment goals, and create individualized intervention plans
  • Consult regularly with teachers and other school personnel to integrate occupational therapy strategies into classroom routines
  • Monitor student progress, maintain thorough records, and adjust therapy as necessary to support ongoing growth
  • Engage families in the therapy process, providing resources and strategies for carry-over at home
  • Adhere to professional standards and comply with school policies and state regulations
