Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid and current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
  • Familiarity with IEPs and goal-setting for diverse student needs
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with staff, students, and families
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic school setting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate students to determine their need for OT interventions
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Provide direct and consultative therapy services in both individual and group settings
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, progress notes, and outcomes
  • Communicate progress and recommendations with teachers, parents, and education team members
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
