Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Masters or doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current Occupational Therapy license (or eligibility) in Virginia
• Previous experience in a school setting is preferred
• Strong understanding of pediatric therapy interventions
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
• Effective communication skills with students, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate students to determine therapy needs related to educational goals
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and administrators
• Document progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Engage students in activities that foster fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
