Job Description

A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist eager to make an impact in a school-based setting supporting students ages 3 through 22 with varying disabilities. This is a full-time, full school year contract role and offers the ability to design your own schedule based on district needsproviding flexibility in your workday. As an itinerant Occupational Therapist, you'll work with a diverse population, traveling to multiple sites and making measurable contributions to students' growth and engagement.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • Proficiency administering the BOT-3 and Peabody assessments to students with mild to severe, multiple disabilities
  • Experience supporting children and young adults with a wide range of physical, developmental, and cognitive needs
  • Strong ability to interpret data, address family concerns, and craft service recommendations grounded in best practices
  • Self-motivated, organized, and adaptablecapable of managing a dynamic, fluctuating caseload without a cap

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services across a variety of educational environments
  • Assess, document, and monitor student progress, actively engaging parents and staff in the process
  • Travel between school sites within the district, accommodating diverse student needs as they arise
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement customized intervention plans
  • Communicate recommendations and progress clearly to parents, educators, and support personnel
