What youll need to succeed:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in California
- Prior experience or strong interest in working with school-aged children
- Familiarity with delivering evaluations, IEPs, and therapy services within a school setting
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
- Passion for fostering student growth and independence
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify student needs and develop targeted therapy plans
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students per IEP goals
- Work collaboratively with educators, support staff, and families to maximize student success
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student-centered plans
