Job Description

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Valid license/certification as an OT or COTA in California
  • Previous experience in school-based, home health, healthcare, or teletherapy settings preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including teachers, administrators, and families
  • Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered care
  • Experience with IEPs, goal-setting, and student progress documentation is a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to students needs in a school environment
  • Assess, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions to promote learning and independence
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights as needed
  • Maintain timely and thorough documentation of student assessments and progress
  • Coordinate with educators and caregivers to support continuity of care
  • Adapt to various service delivery models, including teletherapy when appropriate

This contract position offers you the flexibility to balance other professional or personal commitments. While the assignment is currently set for one day a week, there may be opportunities for additional hours or extended responsibilities as details become available.
