Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active Occupational Therapy license for the state of Colorado
- Previous experience in school settings preferred, working with K-12 populations
- Solid grasp of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), direct service provision, and documentation requirements
- Commitment to facilitating inclusive, supportive environments for students with a spectrum of needs
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess students motor, social, and adaptive skills to determine appropriate OT interventions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with teachers and related service providers
- Document student progress and participate in IEP meetings, providing insight and recommendations
- Offer direct therapy, consultative support, and training for staff to ensure student success in academic settings
- Adapt and modify activities and environments to promote students independence and participation
