Job Description

Location: Ridgefield, Connecticut

Schedule: Full-Time, 34.17 Hours Per Week
Caseload: Elementary School Students


Position Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy services to elementary-aged students
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify student needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute recommendations regarding student services
  • Support students in improving fine motor, sensory processing, self-help, and classroom participation skills
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Consult with educational staff to support student success across school environments
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and district guidelines

Qualifications

  • Active Connecticut Occupational Therapist (OT) License
  • School-based or pediatric experience preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Passion for supporting students with diverse learning and developmental needs
