This onsite contract position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse group of 45 to 50 students developing and implementing creative interventions that support each childs growth and independence. The school environment provides the chance to collaborate with passionate educators and families while building valuable skills across a broad caseload.

You'll play a vital role in promoting accessible learning, developing individualized goal plans, and ensuring students receive the highest quality therapy services. As a member of a dynamic school-based team, your insight will help integrate occupational therapy into daily routineshelping students reach their fullest potential.

To excel in this role, candidates should bring:

  • Active North Carolina Occupational Therapist licensure
  • Experience or interest in schools, home health, or healthcare-based OT
  • Confidence working with elementary to middle school students
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Proficiency in adapting strategies to diverse learning needs
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, student-centered care

Responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting evaluations and creating individualized plans of care
  • Delivering direct intervention and tracking progress on therapy goals
  • Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Documenting sessions in compliance with professional standards
  • Supporting students across campus settings to foster functional, academic, and social participation
  • Participating in school-based meetings and ongoing professional development
