Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure and registration as an Occupational Therapist
  • Previous experience working in school settings or with children/adolescents preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and students
  • Ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy services tailored to students needs
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine students needs and develop treatment plans
  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to support students academic and functional growth
  • Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families to foster an inclusive, supportive educational experience
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings and reports
  • Develop activities and interventions to enhance fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and adaptive behaviors
  • Provide guidance and training to school staff as needed to reinforce strategies and accommodations
