This full-time contract position provides the opportunity to support students with moderate to high support needs across Central Seattle and surrounding areas from September through mid-December 2026. Serving either a single location or multiple campuses, youll play a vital role in helping each student reach their fullest potential.
What youll bring:
- Current, active Washington OT license
- Valid ESA certification
- Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations is highly valued
- Adaptability and willingness to support a diverse K-12 student population
- Strong collaborative skills to coordinate with teachers, staff, and families
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Role and responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students based on IEP goals
- Assess student needs and participate in the eligibility determination process
- Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor progress
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to integrate strategies into the classroom
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in meetings and team planning sessions
- Vary your support between moderate and high support needs, depending on assignment
This positions full-time schedule (37.5 hours/week) enables in-depth therapeutic relationships and collaboration, with assignments either centralized or covering various neighborhoods within Seattle. On-site work ensures hands-on support and a truly engaging educational experience for all.
