Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license for the state of Nevada
  • Experience or strong interest in working with children and adolescents in a school-based environment
  • Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), and tracking student progress
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Flexibility to travel between sites as needed

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students across K-12 campuses
  • Assess student needs and develop effective intervention plans in collaboration with special education teams
  • Document evaluations, treatment plans, and student progress in accordance with district and state requirements
  • Support students in developing fine motor, sensory-processing, and adaptive skills for educational success
  • Engage with teachers, parents, and related service professionals to ensure integrated care for each student
  • Contribute actively to IEP meetings by sharing recommendations and progress updates
