Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license
• Experience working in school-based settings strongly preferred
• Skilled in assessing and addressing fine/gross motor and sensory processing needs
• Comfortable interacting with students from elementary through high school age groups
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, support staff, and families
• Ability to develop and implement individualized plans and track progress
• Organizational skills for managing caseload, documentation, and scheduling

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations to determine student needs and strengths
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to create tailored intervention plans
• Deliver direct therapy services individually and in small groups
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting
• Model and provide training on classroom strategies that support student participation
• Maintain thorough, timely records and comply with all documentation requirements
• Adapt interventions across various age groups, ensuring each student is supported at their developmental level
