Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license
- Experience working in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Skilled in assessing and addressing fine/gross motor and sensory processing needs
- Comfortable interacting with students from elementary through high school age groups
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, support staff, and families
- Ability to develop and implement individualized plans and track progress
- Organizational skills for managing caseload, documentation, and scheduling
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to determine student needs and strengths
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to create tailored intervention plans
- Deliver direct therapy services individually and in small groups
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting
- Model and provide training on classroom strategies that support student participation
- Maintain thorough, timely records and comply with all documentation requirements
- Adapt interventions across various age groups, ensuring each student is supported at their developmental level
