Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current, active OT license in California
- Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other support staff
- Solid organizational skills to manage varying caseloads and documentation requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and interpret evaluation data to develop individualized intervention plans tailored to student needs
- Deliver targeted occupational therapy services individually or in group settings, supporting educational performance and functional skills
- Collaborate with teachers and educational teams to implement strategies that promote student participation in classroom activities
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal policies
- Engage in IEP meetings, communicating progress and recommendations to families and staff
- Support students development of fine motor, visual-motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills
