Qualifications and Experience:
- Current, valid Occupational Therapy license in Massachusetts
- Previous school-based OT experience highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of IEP process and documentation requirements
- Skilled in designing individualized treatment plans for K-12 students
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students as defined by Individualized Education Programs
- Conduct assessments to determine students strengths and areas for improvement
- Develop, implement, and monitor treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, aides, and parents to support students educational goals
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress notes in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations for student accommodations
