Job Description

Essential Qualifications:

  • Active and valid California Occupational Therapist licensure
  • Experience or strong interest in working with school-aged children
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, students, and families
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation standards preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students based on their individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Develop and implement therapy programs that support students educational goals and improve daily functioning
  • Evaluate, assess, and monitor student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and documentation to support student success
  • Consult with school staff and provide recommendations for classroom modifications
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with state, local, and school guidelines
