Job Description

A contract opportunity is available for Occupational Therapists to support students in a school setting located in Raeford, North Carolina. This role involves working within a structured school district environment starting in mid-August through late May, providing valuable therapy services to students during the academic year.

Position Details:

  • Location: Raeford, NC (School-based setting within the local school district)
  • Contract Duration: August 12, 2026 May 27, 2027
  • Weekly Hours: Approximately 37.5 hours per week (excluding lunch breaks)
  • Daily Schedule: Assigned central office location with specified daily start and end times
  • Caseload: Determined via a workload model, typically including 15-20 hours of direct therapy services weekly, with remaining time allocated to evaluations, data collection, report writing, and related administrative duties

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid and active North Carolina Occupational Therapist license is required
  • Experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred
  • Ability to manage workload effectively between direct service and administrative responsibilities
  • Acceptance of travel assignments is possible, provided license is obtained by the end of July

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services that support students educational and functional needs
  • Conduct evaluations, collect data, and prepare thorough documentation and reports
  • Collaborate with school staff, families, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized plans
  • Maintain compliance with state regulatory requirements and school policies
