Job Description

Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a dedicated Occupational Therapist working on-site with a diverse K-12 population. This contract role, located near Quincy, MA, offers the opportunity to provide essential services, enhance student performance, and foster independence in an educational environment. You'll collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to deliver personalized therapy that addresses each student's unique needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current Occupational Therapist license in Massachusetts (MA OT License required)
  • Previous experience or strong interest in school-based settings preferred
  • Familiarity with a K-12 student caseload and individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Ability to adapt therapeutic interventions to different age groups and learning styles
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate students functional abilities, needs, and developmental goals
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans within the school setting
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrative staff to support educational goals
  • Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and state standards
  • Provide direct therapy, consultation, and training as needed to help students succeed in the classroom
