Qualifications & Experience
- Current Occupational Therapist license in Massachusetts (MA OT License required)
- Previous experience in a school-based role or working with K-8 populations is highly valued
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, educators, and families
- Ability to adapt OT interventions to diverse learning needs
- Demonstrated organization and commitment to meeting educational goals
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct, onsite occupational therapy interventions to K-8 students based on their individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Perform assessments to develop meaningful, student-centered support strategies
- Consult and collaborate with classroom staff, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes
- Document evaluations, progress notes, and maintain all required compliance standards
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and foster a positive learning environment for all students
