Job Description

Embark on a rewarding opportunity offering 37.5 hours per week as a contract Occupational Therapist serving K-12 students in a dynamic educational environment near Puyallup, WA. This role begins in fall 2025 and provides the chance to make a meaningful impact working across multiple school sites with a diverse caseload.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapist license in Washington (WA OT license)
  • ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification required
  • Previous school-based OT experience is highly valued
  • Strong assessment, therapy, documentation, and IEP development skills
  • Confident managing a caseload determined by direct service minutes (900-950 per week)
  • Capable of supporting both elementary and secondary students across several campuses

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive student assessments for occupational therapy needs
  • Deliver direct therapy services as outlined in student IEPs, balancing time across 4-5 schools based on need
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Monitor student progress and update IEPs, documentation, and recommendations as required
  • Provide consultative support to faculty and family members to ensure optimal student outcomes
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and best practices within a school setting
