Job Description

Four dedicated Occupational Therapists are needed for a contract opportunity supporting K-12 students throughout the 2026-2027 school year near Puyallup, WA. Each full-time role is 37.5 hours per week, with assignments designed to meet direct service needs. This position is ideal for those who value variety, as caseloads are determined by direct service minutes (900950 per week), and most therapists work across 45 schools serving both elementary and secondary students.

As a skilled practitioner, you will be providing essential support through assessments, therapeutic interventions, participation in IEP processes, and documentation. Your expertise will be vital in helping students achieve their maximum potential within the school environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Washington Occupational Therapist (OT) license
  • ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting highly preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Commitment to collaboration with educators, families, and students

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver therapeutic interventions
  • Collaborate on IEP development, review, and meetings as required
  • Maintain clear, accurate records and reports according to all guidelines
  • Provide services across multiple campuses as assigned
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives and consult with staff on student needs
  • Support a diverse caseload including both elementary and secondary age groups
