Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active state license as an OT
• Prior experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with educators and families
• Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation requirements
• Adaptability and creative problem-solving skills to address varying student needs

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students as specified in their IEPs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to achieve educational and developmental goals
• Work closely with teachers, parents, and other support staff to facilitate student success
• Assess sensory, motor, and functional skills to recommend appropriate interventions and accommodations
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and plans in a timely, compliant manner
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary discussions
• Promote independence, inclusion, and self-advocacy for students in the academic environment
