Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of Texas
• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
• Ability to conduct assessments, develop individualized care plans, and implement effective interventions
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Compassionate, adaptable, and committed to fostering student potential

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students functional abilities and create individualized treatment strategies
• Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to integrate OT goals within the classroom environment
• Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions addressing fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress reporting
• Document assessments, interventions, and students progress in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Provide recommendations and resources to assist students in accessing the curriculum and developing independence
• Maintain a positive and supportive environment for all learners
