Embark on a rewarding opportunity providing in-person occupational therapy services for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract role offers full-time hours (7.5 per day) supporting students in a collaborative and dynamic educational setting. With four openings available, your expertise in school-based occupational therapy will play a crucial role in helping students reach their fullest potential.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid WA Occupational Therapist license
- ESA certification
- Completion of fingerprinting through OSPI
- Experience or strong interest in school-based OT settings
- Ability to adapt to varying grade bands based on district needs
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy interventions to students in designated grade bands
- Collaborate with special education staff, educators, and families to support student learning and independence
- Conduct student assessments and contribute to the development and implementation of IEPs
- Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support individualized student goals
- Provide consultative services to school personnel as needed
