This onsite contract opportunity in Port Jervis, NY, seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school settings to support students ranging from Kindergarten through age 22. The role involves delivering tailored therapeutic services to help students overcome challenges and improve their functional skills in the educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy evaluations, interventions, and progress monitoring for students K-22.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Document and maintain accurate therapy records in line with regulatory and school standards.
• Adapt therapeutic approaches to meet diverse student needs and promote independence.

Qualifications:

• Current New York State Occupational Therapist license.
• Experience working as an Occupational Therapist within school settings.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, students, and families.
• Ability to manage a caseload and prioritize student needs efficiently.

Location and Hours:

• This is a full-time contract position based onsite in Port Jervis, NY.
• 37.5 hours per week.
