This part-time position is tailored for a dedicated Occupational Therapist who thrives on making an impact within a diverse K8 setting. With a manageable on-site schedule of 45 hours per week at one school, youll have the chance to collaborate with a supportive panel and help students reach their fullest potential throughout the school year.
What were looking for:
- Current Occupational Therapist license in Michigan (MI OT credential required)
- Previous experience in a school setting or working with children (K8 preferred)
- Confidence in managing a varied caseload and adapting strategies for a range of disabilities
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Willingness to provide on-site services, as remote options are not available
Key responsibilities:
- Assess students needs and develop individualized intervention plans
- Implement evidence-based occupational therapy services targeting fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to monitor progress and modify supports
- Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
- Promote positive outcomes for students to enhance participation in academic and social activities
