Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Michigan (MI OT required)
  • Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Comfort working with K8 student populations and a variety of disabilities
  • Ability to maintain in-person presence; remote/virtual work is not an option for this position
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, especially in a team/panel interview setting

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy services on-site at one school
  • Collaborate with teachers and other special education professionals to support student goals
  • Maintain assessment records, progress notes, and data tracking
  • Communicate effectively with staff, students, and families to evaluate needs and progress
  • Ensure practice adheres to all ethical, legal, and procedural standards as set forth by the district
