Job Description

This full-time or part-time occupational therapy opportunity is based onsite at a high school in Pontiac, MI, for the 2025-2026 school year. This contract position offers a dynamic work environment supporting students' developmental and functional skills in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy evaluations, interventions, and progress monitoring tailored to student needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Support students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills critical for academic success.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and comply with all school district and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Active Michigan Occupational Therapy license is required.
  • Experience working in school settings is preferred, demonstrating understanding of the educational environment and student needs.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills essential for effective collaboration and documentation.
