Key Qualifications:
- Active Florida OT license
- Experience in school-based and/or healthcare occupational therapy settings
- Comfortable working onsite with K-12 caseloads
- Ability to adapt interventions for diverse student needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess students functional abilities within the school environment
- Develop and implement individualized OT interventions to enhance student participation and academic performance
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state standards
- Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to facilitate strategies for student success
- Engage in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Utilize both school and healthcare best practices in daily sessions
