Job Description

Make a lasting difference in students lives by providing occupational therapy services to school-aged children through a flexible contract opportunity beginning January 6, 2025. Serve a diverse population of ages 5 to 18, working virtually, onsite, or in a blended model, supporting both students and educational staff in a dynamic academic environment. Interview preparation materials and support will be provided to help you succeed through the process, and interviews are conveniently conducted via Zoom.

Qualifications:

  • Active Washington state OT credentials required
  • Experience with children ages 518 in a school or teletherapy setting preferred
  • Ability to adapt to a variety of caseloads and support needs
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and education team members
  • Comfortable with both in-person and virtual service delivery
  • Proficient with technology platforms for teletherapy

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy assessments, create individualized treatment plans, and provide both direct and consultative OT services
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute clear, accurate documentation
  • Adapt therapy approaches based on ongoing assessment and student growth
  • Support the schools mission of growth, inclusion, and student wellness
  • Maintain compliance with all district and state requirements and regulations
  • Serve as a resource to staff for integrating therapeutic strategies into everyday learning
