Seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist with experience in school settings for an exciting travel opportunity based in Plainfield, NJ. This role involves supporting students in their development by providing therapeutic interventions tailored to individual needs within an educational environment. Key Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based therapy
- Strong understanding of pediatric developmental needs and educational goals
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with educators, families, and other professionals
- Willingness to travel to various school locations as required
Location:
- Position based in Plainfield, NJ, with travel to multiple school sites in the region to deliver onsite services
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students functional abilities and develop intervention strategies to support their educational participation
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapeutic goals into the classroom environment
- Document and track student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly
- Provide training and resources to educators and families to facilitate ongoing support outside therapy sessions
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure comprehensive care for each student
