Job Description

Embark on a fulfilling contract position as a school-based Occupational Therapist supporting early childhood students in a welcoming New Jersey school environment. With a start date as soon as possible and a full-time schedule following standard school hours, youll have the chance to help young learners build essential skills for classroom success.

What Youll Do:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to early childhood students needs
  • Foster growth in fine motor, sensory, self-care, and developmental areas
  • Create and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with school teams
  • Work closely with teachers, families, and staff to monitor and support student progress
  • Conduct evaluations, maintain documentation, and track therapeutic outcomes

Required Credentials & Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Active New Jersey Occupational Therapist license
  • Experience with early childhood populations preferred
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
  • Ability to successfully complete all background and clearance checks required by the district
