Job Description

With a manageable caseload of K-12 students, youll provide expert care and guidance, working 16 hours each week.

Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois Occupational Therapy license required.
  • Experience in school-based OT practices.
  • Solid understanding of pediatric and adolescent development.
  • Ability to collaborate with educational teams and communicate effectively with students and families.
  • Previous work with K-12 or a range of age groups preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with varying needs.
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy services within elementary and middle school environments.
  • Coordinate with teachers and other school staff to support students' academic and functional success.
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records in line with school and legal requirements.
  • Engage families in the therapy process, offering resources and strategies to support students beyond the classroom.
