Step into a dynamic role as an Occupational Therapist supporting students from Kindergarten through 3rd grade during a maternity leave coverage period. Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state
- Experience providing OT services in school settings, home health, or teletherapy
- Background working with K-3 populations highly preferred
- Ability to tailor interventions for diverse developmental and physical needs
- Strong documentation, organizational, and communication skills
- Team-oriented with adaptability to a school-based work culture
Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, intervention, and consultation services for a caseload of K-3 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other service providers to promote student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide progress updates for the multidisciplinary team
- Support access to curriculum and participation in school routines through creative problem-solving
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and adhere to school policies and timelines
