Key Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapist license in California
  • Prior experience in a school setting, preferably with K-12 students
  • Strong understanding of IEP process and related documentation
  • Ability to assess, plan, and implement therapy interventions tailored to individual student needs
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Willingness to work onsite for the full 2026-2027 academic year

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop goals for students requiring OT services
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy to support educational achievement
  • Maintain detailed records and progress reports in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based planning
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and families to ensure seamless service integration
  • Stay current on best practices in school-based OT
