Job Description

Make a difference in the lives of students as a contract Occupational Therapist working with elementary, middle, and high school settings. You'll play a pivotal role in supporting students functional skills, promoting independence, and helping them reach their fullest potential during the school year. Key Qualifications:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist with eligibility to practice in the state
  • Experience working in school environments, especially with children and adolescents
  • Ability to adapt therapy approaches for multiple age groups, from elementary to high school
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and caregivers
  • Comfortable conducting evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and tracking progress
  • Positive attitude and dedication to empowering students with diverse needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students individually or in groups across various grade levels
  • Assess students needs and create tailored interventions to support skills such as fine motor coordination, self-care, and sensory processing
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute to student support planning
  • Maintain accurate therapy documentation and regular progress reporting
  • Partner closely with educators and families to support holistic student development
