This contract opportunity is perfect for an Occupational Therapist with experience serving diverse school-aged populations, particularly those needing additional support such as life skills, autistic support, and multiple disabilities. The position is based at a well-equipped Education Center providing specialized programs to students, K through age 22, as part of a dedicated Low Incidence Program.

As part of a supportive interdisciplinary team, you will provide essential therapy and contribute to comprehensive education strategies that empower students independence and growth.

Qualifications:

• Valid and current Occupational Therapist licensure in Pennsylvania
• Demonstrated experience working with K-age 22 school-aged students in special education programs, including those with autism spectrum disorders, life skills needs, and multiple disabilities
• Strong organizational abilities, with a track record of efficient paperwork and documentation
• Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and paraprofessionals
• Excellent communication and adaptability skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy to students in the Low Incidence Program
• Assess students needs, develop and implement IEP goals, and track progress
• Complete timely and accurate paperwork, reports, and mandated documentation
• Coordinate with teachers and related service providers to integrate therapy strategies within classroom settings
• Educate and support families and staff regarding best practices and interventions
