Occupational Therapist Onsite Position in Phoenix, AZ (Travel Role)

The position includes a full-time schedule with 37.5 hours per week and involves working closely with students to enhance their functional abilities in educational settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students with Autism, tailored to their individual educational and developmental needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective intervention plans
  • Conduct assessments and monitor progress to adjust therapy goals accordingly
  • Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with educational and licensing standards
  • Support students participation in school activities through adaptive strategies and therapeutic techniques

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Valid Arizona Occupational Therapist license
  • IVP fingerprint clearance card as required for school-based employment
  • Proven experience in school-based occupational therapy, with emphasis on Autism spectrum conditions
  • Strong communication skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff
