Qualifications and Skills:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Valid OT licensure for Arizona (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Solid understanding of IEP process and experience in evaluation, intervention planning, and therapy documentation
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet unique student needs across various grade levels

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students as indicated in IEPs
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine students functional abilities
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Document progress, maintain records, and contribute to IEP meetings as an essential team member
• Utilize creative strategies and evidence-based interventions to promote student participation, independence, and academic success
• Provide support and training to classroom staff on adapted equipment, sensory integration, and related topics as needed
