Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active OT license valid in Arizona, or eligibility to obtain
- Experience working with children or adolescents, especially in educational settings
- Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
- Proficiency with evaluation tools, IEP documentation, and therapeutic interventions
- Adaptable and solution-focused mindset
Main Responsibilities:
- Assess students fine motor, sensory processing, and functional skills
- Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to integrate strategies into daily routines
- Contribute to the development and review of IEPs
- Document evaluations, therapy progress, and outcomes as required by school policies and regulations
- Empower students to reach their fullest academic and functional potential
- Provide staff training and consultation as needed
