Job Description

Qualifications and Preferred Skills:

  • Current Occupational Therapist license in Arizona (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and relevant documentation
  • Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments for students referred or identified with occupational therapy needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that support students educational goals
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in alignment with IEP requirements
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary meetings, sharing insights and recommendations with school staff and parents
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date case notes and progress reports
  • Provide guidance, resources, and training to teachers and school personnel
  • Stay current on best practices and continuing education in pediatric and school-based occupational therapy
