Serving elementary schools and one junior high in the vibrant Phoenix, AZ area, youll provide direct OT services in both healthcare and educational settings for a period of 12 weeks. Key Qualifications:

• Active Arizona Occupational Therapist license
• Valid IVP Fingerprint clearance card
• Proven experience in school-based OT, preferred experience supervising a COTA
• Skilled in adapting therapy within both classroom and home health environments
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Adept at planning and documenting treatment for a diverse student population

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students, primarily at the elementary level, with some responsibilities at a junior high
• Design and implement individualized therapy programs targeting school performance and life skills
• Supervise and collaborate with a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Conduct assessments, generate reports, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Educate staff and families on strategies to promote student success
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and licensing requirements
