Step into a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students as an Occupational Therapist in a vibrant school setting near Phoenix, AZ. This contract position supports two schools, providing much-needed therapies to children from kindergarten through eighth grade, including those with Autism, developmental delays, and Down syndrome. Youll complete evaluations, support students independence, and collaborate with a caring multi-disciplinary team.

Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Arizona Occupational Therapy License (required)
• Active Arizona fingerprint clearance card (required before starting)
• Experience working with school-age children preferred, especially with Autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental delays, and similar diagnoses
• Ability to manage a varied caseload and perform comprehensive school-based OT evaluations
• Strong communication skills and comfort collaborating with families, teachers, and other related service providers
• Independent worker, no COTA supervision required

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver OT assessments and interventions to K8 students across two schools
• Address sensory, fine motor, self-care, and participation needs to help each student succeed
• Document progress, participate in IEP meetings, and develop individualized OT goals
• Engage in ongoing team meetings before and after school, as needed
• Maintain compliance with state educational and therapy regulations
