Job Description
Make a meaningful impact on students lives as a skilled Occupational Therapist in a supportive educational setting. This full-time contract role serves PreK to 8th-grade students, offering you the chance to help children develop key functional skills and reach their highest potential. The assignment runs from August 3, 2026, through May 26, 2027, with dates subject to change, and is located in the vibrant Glendale, AZ area.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Valid OT license in the state
- IVP FP Card required
- Experience working with school-aged children strongly preferred
- Previous school-based occupational therapy experience is highly desirable
- Strong communication, collaboration, and time-management skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in PreK8th grade
- Develop, implement, and track progress of individualized treatment plans and goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students access to the curriculum
- Conduct assessments, participate in IEP meetings, and maintain thorough documentation
- Serve as a resource and advocate, providing staff and family education on therapy strategies and accommodations
- Flexibly support a diverse range of therapy needs in a dynamic school environment
