Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active Arizona Occupational Therapist license
  • Current IVP fingerprint clearance card required
  • Experience in school-based OT, home health, or pediatric OT care preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and record-keeping abilities
  • Collaborative spirit and adaptability to support varied caseloads
  • Passion for empowering students and partnering with educators and families

Responsibilities and Core Duties:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students in K-8 grades according to IEPs
  • Perform evaluations, create individualized treatment plans, and monitor student progress
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and staff to facilitate successful classroom participation
  • Document therapy sessions and maintain compliance with school district policies
  • Support inclusive educational environments and contribute to team meetings
  • Encourage engagement and self-advocacy skills in students
