This contract opportunity is an excellent fit for an Occupational Therapist with a background in supporting school-aged individuals with diverse abilities. Located near Philadelphia, this role focuses on providing direct and consultative services to students in the Low Incidence Program (autistic support, life skills, and multiple disabilities) serving ages K through 22.
Enjoy a full-time schedulefive days a weekworking with a collaborative and dedicated team committed to inclusive education at the Marple Education Center. Your expertise will help empower students to build independence and succeed both academically and functionally.
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Pennsylvania
- Previous experience in a school-based setting with K-age 22 students
- Strong background working with low incidence populations (autism, life skills, multiple disabilities)
- Exceptional organizational skills for managing documentation and paperwork requirements
- Demonstrated ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to varied student needs
- Collaborative spirit when partnering with educators, families, and other service providers
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services and consultative support within the Low Incidence Program
- Develop, implement, and update IEP goals and treatment plans
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations
- Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and participate in student evaluations as needed
- Foster an encouraging, positive, and adaptive environment for students of varying abilities
