Job Description

This contract role provides an opportunity to support the academic and developmental journey of a 6th grade student, delivering one-to-one therapy each week in an engaging, educational environment. Your expertise in school-based OT and healthcare settings will be key to helping the student reach their goals.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Occupational Therapist license in Pennsylvania
  • Experience in school-based, home health, and general healthcare OT settings preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students and educational staff
  • Ability to create and implement effective therapy plans
  • Commitment to delivering patient-centered care and supporting student success

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services to a 6th grade student for 30 minutes once per week, onsite at the school
  • Assess the students needs, strengths, and areas for improvement, collaborating with teachers and support staff
  • Develop individualized therapy goals and monitor progress, adjusting approaches as needed
  • Maintain documentation and student records in accordance with professional standards
  • Serve as an OT resource and advocate within the educational team, fostering a positive, inclusive environment
