Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students as an Occupational Therapist for the 2025-26 school year in the Colorado Springs region. This role offers a diverse and rewarding experience, working across multiple K-12 schools and engaging with a variety of student needs. Flexible options are available: choose from a full-time position (37.5 hours per week) or a part-time assignment (60 minutes per month, providing in-home services).
Bring your expertise to both direct and indirect OT servicescontributing to IEPs, conducting assessments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. With opportunities to provide teletherapy, home health, and in-school interventions, your days will be varied and meaningful. Travel between sites is supported as part of this itinerant role, and youll enjoy working within a caseload model that keeps your focus on quality care.
Ideal background and skills:
- Valid Colorado Occupational Therapist license and Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teaching certification
- Experience with school-based OT, home health, teletherapy, or general healthcare settings
- Proficiency in IEP development, evaluations, and the delivery of both direct and consultative OT services
- Comfortable serving students across all grade levels (K-12) and adapting strategies to individual needs
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to partner with families and school staff
- Ability to support multiple schools and travel locally as required
